Term 4 Saturday Masterclass for Year 10 & 11 Students in Visual Arts and Photography courses

Saturdays 2 November – 7 December 2019 | 9am – 3pm

Our Saturday Visual Arts and Photography intensive continues in Term 4 2019, for creative and talented students from multiple schools.

Students gain technical art-making skills, insight into the arts sector, behind the scenes access to arts institutions, as well as better awareness around post-school pathways.

This term our program takes students on a campus tour and workshop at National Art School (Darlinghurst), visit to Western Sydney University (Parramatta campus) as well as speaking with artists in their workspaces at Parramatta Artist Studios (Rydalmere). With a focus on post-school careers and education in the arts, students will also talk with Katrina Sandbach, School of Humanities and Communication Arts from Western Sydney University.

Our extended practical programs are led by artists including Linda Brescia, Raj Panda and Clarinda Vinters, exploring weaving, portraiture, still life and perspective drawing, and considering how artists playfully disrupt these conventions today.
