My Culture, My Story

Thursday 17 May 2018, 6pm – 9pm
The Heritage Medallion is awarded by Campbelltown City Council to an outstanding person or group within the Campbelltown community in acknowledgement of their contribution to Campbelltown’s heritage, as part of the National Trust Heritage Festival.

My Culture, My Story celebrates the diversity of cultures that have shaped our shared heritage. The Festival is an opportunity to reflect on the places where we live, work, and travel, and why they are special, celebrating our many diverse and distinctive cultures.

Artists and performers across various cultures, gender and practices come together to share their connection to heritage – exploring how art as a medium can be used to record and tell stories.

Guest speakers include Aunty Glenda Chalker, Uncle Ivan Wellington, Little Orange artist Sri Thulin, video artist Mona Ibrahim and hip hop artist L-FRESH The LION.
