Little Orange

Little Orange is a Campbelltown Arts Centre working studio for contemporary Western Sydney artists who identify with a disability. The studio has been running since 2014 and fosters high quality artistic practice through the provision of materials, mentorships, business training and access to industry professionals. Little Orange is facilitated by Western Sydney contemporary artist and curator, David Capra.

Little Orange artists have a broad range of practices spanning drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and performance. The purpose of the studio is to provide a platform for establishing artists to develop and launch their career through opportunities within the C-A-C artistic program and community.

Some of the past achievements and projects by Little Orange artists include receiving industry recognised awards, internships, public art commissions and hosting the opening of C-A-C’s 30th We are all connected to Campbelltown (one way or another) with the Little Orange BIG PARTY.

2019 Little Orange artists include: Adam Jones, Jessica Fesic, Joel Beers, Imogen Jade, Peter Gregson, Brendalee Coan , Sri Thulin, Michelle Brown, Jessica Pound, Renee Allarra and Xeni Kusumitra.

Placement in the studio is accessed according to strength of an individual’s artistic practice and their demonstrated dedication to establishing a career in the arts.
