Rosie Deacon’s practice extends to installation, textiles and video, often taking a satirical poke at Australian kitsch while unpacking notions of national identity. Deacon’s work Platyroo Tuckerbag won the 2018 Fisher’s Ghost Sculpture Award.

Mona Ibrahim is a film-maker from Cairo, Egypt, who now resides in Sydney. Her work is centred on her experience of immigrating to Australia over 5 years ago.
South African born, Campbelltown raised, South West Sydney based artist Freya Jobbins’s practice is based on social commentary. She is known for her plastic assemblages created from deconstructed dolls and plastic children’s toys.
