Monday 8 – Friday 26 October

Internationally renowned dancer and choreographer Eko Supriyanto will work alongside Lim How Ngean (dramaturg) and legendary Indonesian musician Sawung Jabo to create a dance theatre performance in collaboration with Youth Officers from Reiby Juvenile Justice Centre.

This ground breaking and revealing work explores the experiences of the Youth Officers working at Reiby, the duality of their relationship with the young people in their care and what it takes to be on duty in a juvenile prison facility.

The development will also be accompanied by a music workshop project led by Sawung Jabo working with the young people in Reiby. The outcome of these workshops will be integrated into the final performance giving the young people a voice within the work.
