True Vibenation signal a new generation of artists making the music of true global citizens.
Drawing from their African heritage and raised in the cultural migrant melting pot of Australia, their sound takes influence in equal parts from Fela Kuti, Hugh Masekela and The Daptone Horns as it does from Outkast, Ta-Ku and Chet Faker.
Following a two week creative residency at Campbelltown Arts Centre writing new music and shooting a short film with choreographers and dancers Thuba Ndibali and Pepsie Magonya, local heroes True Vibenation reveal a sneak peek at their new afro-flavoured collaboration. Expect tasty beats, big bass, big horns and infectious dancing!
This performance will include support from artist Mike Akox.
This is an all ages event so ID is required
