Residency: 6 – 18 June

Artist Kristina Chan will be in residence at Campbelltown Arts Centre for two weeks in June, working on the development of a new contemporary dance work with collaborator Clare Britton.

Kristina Chan is an experience Sydney-based dancer and choreographer. She has performed throughout Australia, Canada, UK, USA, Asia, Israel and Europe over the past 12 years. She has worked with Australia’s most prolific dance companies,  including Australian Dance Theatre, Chunky Move, Sydney Theatre Company, Tasdance, and Stalker Theatre Company.

Clare Britton is an experienced Sydney-based artist and sought after collaborator with a practice that spans performance making and visual art.

The residency will provide opportunity for Kristina and Clare to work together for the first time in a dedicated investigation of practices. The artists will explore themes of environment and interruption of space through performance and installation.
